I successfully defended my MA thesis yesterday, and have now officially finished all requirements for the MA degree. It feels good.

Since my darling husband was in Salt Lake all day…

… I decided I’d spend time with some of my favorite girls.

One’s getting married next week. One’s having a baby.

And I got to hang out with one of my favorite girls of all, our Granny.

Friday was a good day.

We went to a reception and I got this pretty lollipop.

But since cake and lollipops did not fill us up, we decided to celebrate our (I say “our” because Chris wishes he were Latin) heritage…
